If some of your favored wines come from Tuscany, I encourage you to join us for our weekly tasting this Friday and Saturday. Familia Bacci is a family own winery renowned for the production of outstanding sangiovese. They own vineyard properties in some of the best areas in Tuscany: Montalcino, the Chianti Classico area, and the Maremma.
The Renieri estate is located in the southern part of the territory of Montalcino, facing Monte Amiata. The vineyards are at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level, and enjoy an almost 360 degree exposure, from east to northwest. The soils at Renieri estate are predominately volcanic, with calcareous soils and stone interfigured with red clay and tuffs.
Terre di Talamo is located south of Grosseto, in the Tuscan Maremma. The D.O.C.G. is Morellino di Scansano. The 52 hectares estate is on a hillside facing the sea, and offers a view from the Port of Talamone to the Argentario promontory. The vineyards extend over about 32 hectares.
